Already back in the 1980s and being fascinated by progressive bands like Pink Floyd, Marillion and Saga, the trained pianist concentrated on composing complex digital sound structures. Later, his playing was also influenced by his enthusiasm for artists like e.g. Jordan Rudess.

His harmonic sound layers and his amazing dexterity provide sophisticated and entertaining arrangements that make the music of THEORY OF ELEMENTS unmistakable and unique.

He is a master of modern sound production and is capable of eliciting surprising as well as proven sounds from his instruments creating a harmonic scenery which perfectly encompasses the overall structure.
